While Paige was at camp for a week, Dana and I went over to the BRR. It rained for the third trip in a row! I wish I had my weather station up and running so I could measure the rain accumulation, because this must be a wet summer as the majority of moisture in this area typically falls as snow. But as always the rains came and passed quickly making for pleasant hiking, so Dana and I explored the canyon just to the north of our property and found the lichen covered juniper branch shown above.
