Above our architect Lance (left) and a steel building designer over at AM1 Company in Bend.  It’s been decided that we’ll be building our house structure, roof, and siding with steel.  Nothing to burn, nothing to upkeep.

Kids running wild on Jan 2, 2015.  And some particularly nice lenticular clouds bedding down the three sisters for the night.

January 1, 2015,  5:05pm.  Last light on the BRR. Unlike the previous storm that dropped three FEET of snow on the BRR crushing our tent in the process.  This storm was colder and dryer, leaving just 3-4 inches of snow. 

January 1, 2015;  9 degrees 4:48pm Unfortunately, the cold temps kept us over at Black Butte Ranch.

 The BRR entertained a secret guest this week ( code name tdoemntboemrtg ) so we had to blur out his face.  Suffice it to say that long mysterious winds blew but the sun still rose beautifully.
