Sadly our tent was crushed by a foot and a half of snow a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving weekend. I fixed a couple of tarps over the tent, inventoried the bent poles and left. The Japanese have now called this year an El Niño and I definitely agree. The ranch has been consistently been hit by heavy rain – in a desert that averages 9” of rain a year. I wish I had my weather station up a running.
